911 Theatre Announces bold 2025-2026 Season Exploring Love, Loss, and the Human Experience

NORTH ADAMS, MA– 911 Theatre is thrilled to announce its 2025–2026 season, a bold and imaginative lineup that invites audiences to explore love, loss, resilience, and the beauty of storytelling in all its forms.

This year's productions showcase a dynamic range of theatrical styles and voices, featuring contemporary works alongside student-created performances that push creative boundaries.

2025–2026 Season Lineup:

“We're Gonna Die” by Young Jean Lee November 6–9, 2025 | Venable Theatre
A darkly funny, life-affirming show that blends storytelling, live music, and honesty about what it means to be alive. “We’re Gonna Die” reminds us that no one is alone in their struggles, and that laughter and song can be powerful acts of survival.

“Eurydice” by Sarah Ruhl April 16–19, 2026 | Venable Theatre
A poetic retelling of the Orpheus myth through the eyes of Eurydice, this play is a tender meditation on love, memory, and the boundaries between life and death. Sarah Ruhl’s luminous writing brings the underworld to life with wit, imagination, and heart.

“Leviathan” May 1–3, 2026 | Venable Theatre A new adaptation
“Leviathan” is an ensemble-devised work inspired by Moby-Dick and other great works of philosophy and imagination. Created collaboratively by students in the New Works Development course, this piece invites audiences into the uncharted waters of artistic invention. Come see what questions surface from the minds of Leviathan’s student creators.

"This season offers something for everyone, from intimate explorations of mortality to epic tales of obsession and adventure," said Laura Standley, Professor, Theatre, Fine and Performing Arts. "These productions challenge, inspire, and transform, and we're excited to share them with our community."

All productions are produced collaboratively by students, faculty, and guest artists, providing invaluable hands-on experience for aspiring theatre professionals while delivering exceptional entertainment to audiences.
