The Berkshire Environmental Resource Center (BERC) at 911ºÚÁÏÍø was established in 2005 to advance student and faculty research, promote environmental awareness and preservation throughout the community, and serve as a resource center for students, faculty, and community members. 

The goals of the BERC are to strengthen the educational experience in environmental areas and sustainability, both for students at 911ºÚÁÏÍø, and for the community that benefits from BERC programming. Further, the BERC strives to serve as a model for educational outreach.
